FAQs

The following information is provided to make your attendance at the 2026 Indigenous Wellbeing Conference as enjoyable as possible. If you require assistance in the lead up to IWC26, please contact the team at iwc@anzmh.asn.au.

 

Venue & Parking

Hotel Realm Canberra

18 National Circuit

Car parking is available within the Realm Precinct for hotel meeting delegates and event guests. The Realm Precinct has over 800 car spaces located across Hotel Realm, Burbury Close, 9 & 3 Sydney Avenue and Little National Hotel. 

*Please note these are public carparks and space cannot be guaranteed and rates vary across car parks – to check rates visit Wilson Parking Australia.

Registration and Information Desk

The registration desk will be located on the Terrace, level 2 at Hotel Realm.

The hours of operation are as follows:

 

Sunday 11 October

1:30pm – 2:30pm

*Note: Sunday registration will only be available to delegates attending the pre-conference activities 

 

Monday 12 October       

7:30am – 5:00pm

 

Tuesday 13 October

8:00am – 3:30pm    

 

Name Badge

Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the Culture Connect Networking function.

IWC26 Polo Shirt

All delegates will receive a IWC26 polo shirt. Sizes must be selected at the time of registration. Shirts will be available for collection at the same time as registration. 

Please note: Due to limited quantities, you will be unable to swap your polo shirt if you ordered the incorrect size

 

Wi-Fi

Complimentary wi-fi will be available to all delegates onsite. 

 

Mobile Phones

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in conference sessions.

 

Dress Code

The dress code is smart casual.

 

On-Site Counsellor 

During the conference, if you feel the need to speak to someone, we will have a counsellor available. We are here to support you, so please reach out if you require any assistance.

 

Conference Catering

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided each day. All catering will be served in the High Courtyard with the exhibitors.

 

Accommodation – Hotel Realm and Burbury Hotels & Apartments

All accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotels on checkout. The Committee and/or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts.

 

OnAIR Virtual Access

Included in your registration is access to OnAIR, the virtual conference online portal where you can join the sessions as highlighted in dark blue on the program virtually.

 

Plus, you can meet with exhibitors and connect with other local, interstate and international delegates in the meeting hub. We encourage you to log-in, update your profile and familiarise yourself with the software prior to the conference.

 

The OnAIR portal works best if you access it via Google Chrome

 

Login details will be sent in your final confirmation letter roughly two weeks prior to the conference. 

 

Resource Centre

As part of your conference registration, you will receive access to the 2026 Indigenous Wellbeing Conference presentation recordings (excluding workshops). This online library includes presentation slides and video recordings that can be watched on demand for 30 days. Your login details will be sent to you via email approximately five business days after the conference.
