Sustainable Value Creation: Purpose-led Governance, Integrated Strategy and the Strategic Assets Critical for Organisations to Contribute to a Prosperous Northern Australia

Abstract

Sustainable value creation across organisations and communities is critical to building a strong and prosperous Northern Australia. This keynote will explore what good governance, strategy and leadership looks like now and into the future - covering diverse themes from the role of Boards as ‘stewards of the future’ to the increasing demand for skills and expertise in ESG, cyber security and AI, to ecosystem change. Adopting purpose-led governance, embedding integrated strategy and building the human capital needed for success, enables organisations to prepare for and navigate an uncertain environment whilst delivering on their purpose and value proposition. This presentation will highlight trends and case studies across multiple sectors to demonstrate progressive and innovative approaches in stakeholder and policy-centric governance; agility and resilience business strategies; diversity, equity and inclusion; to wellbeing and skills development.
