The following information is provided to make your attendance at the 2024 Developing Northern Australia Conference as pleasant as possible. If you require assistance, please visit the conference team at the registration desk.
REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION DESK
The registration desk will be located in the main foyer at the entrance of the Red Earth Arts Precinct. Our team will be available during the following times:
Monday 26 August 2024 11:30am – 5:30pm
Tuesday 27 August 2024 8:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday 28 August 2024 8:00am – 2:30pm
NAME BADGE
Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the Monday evening networking function.
Security will be checking that name badges are worn during the conference.
DRESS CODE
The dress code is smart casual.
WI-FI
Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available in all event areas.

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in conference sessions.
CONFERENCE CATERING
All catering will be served in Conference Marquee with the Exhibitors and Poster Presentations.
WELCOME FUNCTION
The Welcome Networking Function will be held on Monday 26 August from 5:30pm – 6:30pm at The Shelf at the conference venue. Canapes, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served. This event is included with your registration.
Guest tickets can be purchased for $88.00 at time of registration or from the registration desk.
DINNER AT DAMPIER, SPONSORED BY NAUA
Join us for our conference gala dinner to be held at the Dampier Foreshore on Tuesday 27 August from 5:30pm – 10:00pm. This is a ticketed event and includes delicious canapés and drinks to start, followed by a mouth-watering banquet dinner under the palm trees.
Tickets can be purchased for $219.00 + GST at time of registration or see the team at the registration desk.
Transportation: As the conference comes to an end on Day 2, buses will pick you up from the Red Earth Arts Precinct and return you to your hotel at the end of the night.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotel on checkout. The Committee and/ or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts.
HOTEL SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
As an exclusive benefit for those who have booked their accommodation through us, we are delighted to provide a complimentary hotel bus service to transport you to and from the venue before and after the conference. The bus schedule can be found in the conference app.
