FAQs

The following information is provided to make your attendance at the 2023 Developing Northern Australia Conference as pleasant as possible. If you require assistance, please visit the conference team at the registration desk.

 

REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION DESK
The registration desk will be in the main foyer at the entrance as you enter the building. Our team will be available during the following times:

Monday 26 August 2024 11:30am – 5:30pm
Tuesday 27 August 2024 8:00am – 5:15pm
Wednesday 28 August 2024 8:30am – 2:30pm

 

NAME BADGE
Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the Monday evening networking function.

Security will be checking that name badges are worn during the conference. This is also your entry pass to the venue and Welcome Function held at the Parliament House gardens.

 

DRESS CODE
The dress code is smart casual.

 

WI-FI
Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available in all event areas.

MOBILE PHONES
Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in conference sessions.


CONFERENCE CATERING
All catering will be served in Conference Marquee with the Exhibitors and Poster presentations.


WELCOME FUNCTION
The welcome networking function will be held on Monday 26 August from 5:30pm – 6:30pm on the Shelf at the conference venue where Canapes, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served. This event is included with your registration. Guest tickets can be purchased for $88.00 - come and see the Conference team at the Registration desk.

GALA DINNER
Join us for our conference dinner held at the Dampier Foreshore, Tuesday 27 August from 6.00pm – 9.30pm. This is a ticketed event which includes canapes and beverages, 2 course Dinner & Entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased through the conference APP or see the team at the Registration desk.

Busses will depart the conference venue at 5:30pm.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotel on checkout. The Committee and/ or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts.


HOTEL SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
As an exclusive benefit for those who have booked their accommodation through us, we are delighted to provide a complimentary hotel bus service to transport you to and from the venue before and after the conference. Refer to the Conference APP for bus schedule.


RESOURCE CENTRE
As part of your conference registration, you will receive access to the conference presentation recordings. This online library includes presentation slides and video recordings that can be watched on demand for 30 days. Your login details will be sent to you via email approximately five business days after the conference.
