The following information is provided to make your attendance at the 2025 Indigenous Wellbeing Conference as enjoyable as possible. If you require assistance during IWC25, please visit the conference team at the registration desk.

 

Venue & Parking

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)

Cnr Merivale & Glenelg Streets

South Bank, Brisbane, QLD

To take advantage of discounted parking at BCEC we recommend a BCEC Parking Subscription. Through a BCEC parking subscription you can access 24-hour parking with onsite security for a flat rate of $16 per exit

Registration and Information Desk

The registration desk will be located on the Mezzanine Foyer of the BCEC

The hours of operation are as follows:

 

Sunday 19 October

1:30pm – 2:30pm

*Note: Sunday registration will only be available to delegates attending the Gurumba Bigi Gathering      

 

Monday 20 October       

7:30am – 5:00pm

 

Tuesday 21 October

8:00am – 3:30pm

Name Badge

Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the Culture Connect Networking function

 

IWC25 Polo Shirt Collection

Your IWC25 polo shirt will be available for collection from the collection desk located in the Mezzanine Foyer

Please note: Due to limited quantities, you will be unable to swap your polo shirt if you ordered the incorrect size

Mobile Phones

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in conference sessions

 

Dress Code

The dress code is smart casual

 

On-Site Counsellor 

During the conference, if you feel the need to speak to someone, we will have a counsellor from Relationships Australia Queensland onsite. We are here to support you, so please reach out if you require any assistance

We recommend contacting the counsellor via text message to arrange to meet at the Counselling Room (M8)

Conference Catering

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided each day. All catering will be served in the Mezzanine Foyer with the exhibitors and poster presentations

 

Accommodation – Novotel Brisbane South Bank & Mantra South Bank Brisbane

Accommodation accounts must be settled with the Novotel Brisbane South Bank and Mantra South Bank Brisbane on checkout. The Committee and/or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts

 

OnAIR Virtual Access

Included in your registration is access to OnAIR, the virtual conference online portal where you can join the sessions as highlighted in dark blue and teal on the program virtually

 

Plus, you can meet with exhibitors and connect with other local, interstate and international delegates in the meeting hub. We encourage you to log-in, update your profile and familiarise yourself with the software prior to the conference

 

The OnAIR portal works best if you access it via Google Chrome

 

Login details are available in your final confirmation letter  

 

Resource Centre

As part of your conference registration, you will receive access to the 2025 Indigenous Wellbeing Conference presentation recordings. This online library includes presentation slides and video recordings that can be watched on demand for 30 days. Your login details will be sent to you via email approximately five business days after the conference
