PLAN YOUR VISIT
When is the 2025 Disaster & Emergency Management Conference?
DEMC 2025 will commence on Monday 14 July 2025 and concludes on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
Where is the conference located?
DEMC 2025 will be hosted at the RACV Royal Pines Resort located at Ross Street, Benowa, Queensland, 4217.

Which is the best airport if travelling via Air?
Gold Coast Airport is the gateway to Australia’s premier tourist destinations, with uninterrupted access to the beautiful Gold Coast and Byron Bay hinterland, as well as onward passage to 27 destinations worldwide.
The Gold Coast Airport is located 32 kilometers from the conference venue RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast.
Is parking available at the conference venue?
Complimentary self-parking awaits you, ensuring a seamless and stress-free arrival.
ACCOMMODATION
As a delegate, do I receive a discounted rate for accommodation when attending DEMC?
All delegates attending DEMC 2025 receive an exclusive discounted rate at the conference hotel. Accommodation for 2025 is currently SOLD OUT.
What time is check in available at the hotel?
The 2025 Disaster & Emergency Management Conference will be hosted at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast
Hotel check in is 3:00pm, with check out at 10:00am
Accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotel on checkout. The Committee and/or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts.
Can I store my luggage at the venue after hotel check out?
Yes, if you have stayed at RACV Royal Pines Resort, the hotel concierge will store your luggage until after the conference has finished at 3:00pm.
REGISTRATIONS
Where do I collect my name badge?
Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the social functions.
When can I visit the conference registration desk?
The registration desk will be located in the Royal Benowa Foyer of the RACV Royal Pines Resort. The hours of operation are as follows:
Monday 14 July 7:30am – 5:00pm
Tuesday 15 July 7:30am – 5:00pm
What does my registration include?
Your in-person delegate registration to the DEMC 2025 includes the following:

I want to bring a colleague or team to the conference, are any discounts available?
If you would like your colleagues or team to experience DEMC, we have group rates available.

I can no longer attend! Can I transfer my registration to my colleague?
If you are unable to attend DEMC, we can offer 1 name change up to 1 week prior to the conference. Please email through your changes to conference@anzdmc.com.au
Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available for all delegates.
Mobile Phones
Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in sessions.
Dress Code
We ask delegates to wear casual business attire (i.e full suit not required but can be worn if presenting) or smart casual. Wearing uniforms is optional.
CONFERENCE PROGRAM
What time does the conference commence?
The conference program will run on Queensland AEST time and will commence at 8:30am, Monday 14 July 2025.
How do I know when or where someone is speaking?

Will recordings of sessions be available after the event?
We will not be recording sessions at DEMC25.
Are there any networking opportunities available?
There will be multiple opportunities for delegates to connect and network with each other throughout the conference.
Catering Arrangements
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be served in the Royal Benowa Foyer with the exhibitors and poster presentations.
Any special dietary requirements indicated on your registration form have been forwarded to the venue. Please talk to venue staff during the break if you have special dietary requirements.
EXHIBITION
Can I apply for an exhibitor showcase at DEMC 2025?
Our showcase positions filled up quickly for 2025 and our trade floor has now sold out. We will be opening applications for 2026 in the coming months.
