Want to Change the World? Collaborate.

Abstract

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini | My success is not mine alone, it is the success of the collective.

Without exception, solving the tough stuff, the wicked, gnarly problems that cause the best to scratch their heads and wonder, is best achieved through collaboration.

When you share an ambition, create a new Us, and find alignment around the matters that matter, the impossible becomes possible.

In this thought provoking, practically focused Masterclass, Ann challenges audiences to raise their level of ambition, work in genuine collaboration and embrace the practices of leadership essential for today’s world. All with a healthy dose of energy, humour and practical insight.

She explores:
• What it takes to create the Collaboration Effect
• Why collaboration outperforms other approaches when tackling complex problems
• The pitfalls and how to avoid them

Using real world stories from large scale systems change work – the good, the bad, and the ugly – Ann demonstrates why building your collaborative DNA is the smartest move you can make right now. She challenges participants to rethink their approaches and offers a model to guide and catalyse action.

By embracing the real world lessons and adopting tested approaches, participants can hope to harness interagency potential, create new opportunities, uncover innovative solutions and build strong, meaningful connections. They can prepare for an unknowable future, and get you through the tough stuff when it, inevitably, arrives.

It will arrive.
