The Developing Northern Australia Conference will be awarding scholarships to attend the 2025 conference in Gimuy Walubarra Yidinji and Yirrganydji Country in tropical Cairns from Tuesday 22 July – Thursday 24 July 2025.

Scholarships include a 3-day conference registration, a ticket to the Networking Event, two nights’ accommodation at the conference hotel and return flights to Cairns.

Note: expenses such as additional meals and incidentals will not be covered.

The following individuals are eligible to apply for a scholarship:

• Residents of Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia who live in a rural and remote area
• Indigenous, Torres Strait Islander, Māori or Pacific Islands descent

Applications for scholarships must be submitted by close of business Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Up to two scholarships are available per state. You will be notified if your application has been successful by no later than Friday 9 May 2025.

Please note: This is not a registration form to attend the conference. If your application is unsuccessful, you will still be eligible to register with the potential to be offered an exclusive subsidised registration rate based on your application.

Scholarships are not available for presenters at the conference.
