The Orchard, is the first purpose built Core and Cluster, Trauma Informed designed emergency accommodation in NSW. At the vanguard of a NSW pilot and as part of a review of traditional refuge accommodation. Opened in 2020, The Orchards sets new standards in accommodation and integrated service, focus on person centered care, independent living. The Orchard is a co funding model, with local, State and Commonwealth funding matched with community and business and a Community Engagement Model with local community groups and businesses involved in awareness/fundraising and volunteering as well as designing the building.
