Brief Intervention Service – BIS (VIRTUAL)
Abstract
The NTV Brief Intervention Service was funded by the Department of Social Services in 2019 in response to the sudden and unexpected closures of National Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP’s), directly related to the COVID 19 pandemic. The telehealth support service is designed to hold men pre and post MBCP’s, keeping them in view until community support is available to them. The program has been evaluated and was refunded for the FY 20/21 outside of COVID 19 funding;
