Abstract
Corey will share his story and personal lived experience with domestic and family violence.
Raise awareness on the matter and focus on the importance of young people and in particular young boys and men taking action to prevent domestic violence. He will also talk about the Young Leaders program designed to educate, intervene and prevent domestic violence. The program focuses on empowering young people to take action and have a voice against domestic within their communities. It is with hope that attending and presenting at the conference will help Corey gain further information and education on domestic violence and network with other organisations and services doing amazing work in the sector.

Biography
Corey Lees is a youth mentor and avid advocate for early intervention, education and prevention of domestic and family violence. At 22, he started a youth organisation (UND Youth Services) with a strong focus to make a difference in the lives of children and young people. In 2019 he was the key note speaker for the Central Coast's White Ribbon day event. His community involvement has seen him finish as a finalist for the Foundation of Young Australians Local Legend award. Corey's enthusiastic and passion has earned him opportunities to facilitate groups in schools, sporting clubs and at community events.
