Connect, Your Way - Mental Health Campaign
Abstract
Connect, Your Way campaign was devised by the MPHN to encourage people living across the Murrumbidgee to connect to services and resources and to reduce stigma around seeking support.
To develop the campaign the MPHN with Juntos Marketing led a range of consultation activities including convening an Advisory Panel, conducting in-depth interviews and focus group sessions across the Murrumbidgee. Up to 50 people who either has a lived or living experience of mental health, or a carer, were involved.
These consultations directly guided the development of this campaign, which includes a new webpage with support and resource information, and a series of stories from local people.
Ultimately, Connect, Your Way is about having locals share their stories of how they sought help in different ways to encourage others to do the same, that is, to connect to supports, their way.
