To mark this significant occasion, the respected Larrakia local Richard Fejo and his family will lead and perform 4 Saltwater Ceremonies across our 2-day event, as Welcome to Country.
“It is said that the mingling of our sweat with saltwater awakens the ancestors to us. When we wash our sweat into the saltwater we connect with the ancestors and are welcomed and protected on Larrakia land.”
Ceremonies will take approximately 40 minutes. Spots are limited for each ceremony, and securing a spot is on a first in best dressed basis.
