ConnectWell: A Digital AOD Pilot Service to Increase Consumer Engagement

Abstract

Lives Lived Well (LLW) is exploring the integration of digital technology into the delivery of mental health and substance use services. Our Digital Services Program 'ConnectWell', underscores our commitment to future-proofing clinical services, expanding client reach, and improving early engagement and clinical intervention through digital platforms. This presentation will highlight LLW's journey in developing and implementing innovative digital service models, emphasising our agile approach and co-design methodology with clinical teams and clients. We also hope to share early results from our pilot program.
Key innovations include the development of an online platform that supports seamless integration of various support services. Through personalised client profiles and self-service options, clients are able to interact with content, chat with clinicians, attend peer support groups and access tools for areas such as appointment management.
With our pilot taking place at the end of 2024, we are keen to share our current learnings, and invite feedback and collaboration from our peers and stakeholders to further enhance and expand the digital service offerings. Our goal is to establish a scalable, evidence-informed digital ecosystem that empowers clients and clinicians alike, driving positive outcomes and setting new standards in the sector.
