In this ministerial address, the Minister for Northern Australia, alongside members of the Northern Australia Ministerial Forum, will outline a coordinated national approach to advancing northern Australian development. Bringing together Commonwealth, Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australian leadership, the keynote will emphasise intergovernmental collaboration, investment alignment and shared accountability in delivering infrastructure, industry growth and regional opportunity across the north. It will also highlight the role of rigorous, place-based research in informing policy settings, guiding investment decisions and strengthening long-term outcomes for northern communities.

Biography
Elizabeth is known for her ability to generate – as a development practitioner, facilitator, strategist and governance professional. She has facilitated numerous community, industry and leadership development programs in regional and remote WA, across Australia and in Papua New Guinea, predominantly focussed on agriculture, food security, climate resilience and inclusive economic growth. She is Vice President of the East Kimberley Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has several other Board and leadership roles in community and industry, is a chronic volunteer and avid netballer. Elizabeth is an AICD Graduate, Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and has completed a Master of Food Security.
