When is the 2024 STOP Domestic Violence Conference? 

The conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from Monday 25 November – Wednesday 27 November 2024. 

Where is the conference located? 

The conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide South Australia 5000, Australia.

Is parking available at the conference venue? 

With easy access and ample parking across two designated undercover car parks, getting to and from the Adelaide Convention Centre couldn’t be easier. Please note that both North Terrace and Riverbank car parks are cashless and accept payment via credit or debit card only.

Early Bird – $18.00

Available Monday to Sunday for entry between 5:30am-9:30am and exit between 2:30pm-6:30pm (includes public holidays).

Registration and Information Desk

The registration desk will be located in the Foyer of the Adelaide Convention Centre. The hours of operation are as follows:

Monday 25 November            11:30am – 5:10pm

Tuesday 26 November            8:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesday 27 November       8:00am – 3:00pm

Name Badge

Please collect your name badge from the registration desk and wear it each day as it is your official pass to all sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the social function. The conference has a no name badge, no entry policy.

Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available in all event areas.

Mobile Phones

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent while in conference sessions.

Dress Code

The dress code is smart casual.

On-Site Counsellor

During the conference, if you feel the need to speak to someone, we will have our on-site counsellors available. We are here to support you.

All catering will be served in the Exhibition Hall with our sponsors, exhibitors and poster presentations.

Time: 7:15am - 8:00am
Location: Regattas Lawns, Adelaide Convention Centre
Includes: Stretch and unwind when you join us for a guided Yoga session. If you’re a yoga enthusiast or a beginner, everyone attending the conference is welcome to attend.

Wednesday Morning Movement, Meditation & Mindfulness Session
Date: Wednesday 27th November
Time: 7:45am - 8:15am
Location: Regattas Lawns, Adelaide Convention Centre
Includes: Join us for simple movements, combined with meditation and mindfulness practices, to help reduce stress in both body and mind. This session is primarily chair-based, making it accessible and easy to incorporate into any workday

Accommodation accounts must be settled with the hotel on checkout. The Committee and/or Conference Secretariat are not responsible in any way for outstanding accommodation accounts.

I can no longer attend! Can I transfer my registration to my colleague? 

If you are unable to attend SDVC, we can offer 1 name change up to 1 week prior to the conference. Please email through your changes to the conference manager.

Resource Centre

As part of your conference registration, you receive access to the 2024 STOP Domestic Violence Conference presentation recordings (excluding Workshops). This online library includes presentation slides and video recordings that can be watched on demand for 30 days. Your login details will be sent to you via email approximately five business days after the conference.
