Future of Agriculture (CRC for Developing Northern Australia)
Abstract
Join Anthony Curro, Chief Executive of the CRC for Developing Northern Australia (CRCNA) as he leads a dynamic discussion on the future of agriculture with trailblazing representatives from across the sector.
Together, they’ll unpack what it means to de-risk agricultural investment in the north’s unique operating environment, as well as the role of technology and innovation for production systems, integration of higher value commodities, resilience in responding to climate change, and sector development that is nature positive and inclusive of First Nations aspirations.
The future can be bright if we take practical steps to position the north as a global leader through place-based development that supports the ag sector in extension and adoption of new and traditional systems for long term impact.
Panellists will be adviser closer to the date.
