Biography
Sean’s traditional lands are located at Padthaway in South Australia from the extended Potaruwutj family of the Tatiara region and has worked serving Indigenous communities around Australia over the past decade.
Sean joined IBA in June 2020, he is an experienced executive in corporate, community and not for profit sectors. He has managed and delivered nationally award-winning programs impacting communities throughout Australia in collaboration with Federal and State governments resulting in the employment of more than 900 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people and tens of millions of dollars procured through Indigenous businesses.
His community engagement involved co-founding CareerTrackers, and board membership across multiple foundations. Sean is a member of the alumni council at the University of Melbourne.
Craig Doyle

Biography
Craig Doyle has extensive executive, operational, and project funding experience across multiple industries in northern Australia.
He served as CEO of Gladstone Ports Corporation between 2013 and 2016 and as Executive General Manager of Australia’s largest sugar producer, Wilmar. Craig was also the Global Technical Head for Wilmar’s international sugar operations.
Former CEO of Mackay Regional Council for nearly five years, Craig understands the needs of regional communities and key infrastructure requirements.
Based in Cairns, Craig commenced in the role in June 2022.

Abstract
Partnerships are critical to unlocking the capital and finance required to activate First Nations led opportunities. This panel discussion will explore how Commonwealth entities such as IBA, NAIF, and NTAIC are partnering to deliver new and innovative finance solutions for people and communities across Northern Australia in areas such as business, housing, infrastructure, clean energy, women’s economic empowerment, and economic development.
