Biography
Tyronne Garstone is a Bardi man, born in Broome on Yawuru Country, Western Australia. He has spent the majority of his working life within the Indigenous sector in areas such as employment and training, social and economic development, native title, Indigenous leadership and capability building.
As a strong advocate for Indigenous rights and advancement, he regularly speaks out on issues of importance for Indigenous people. He is committed to creating best practice models built through the foundation of free prior and informed consent to empower Indigenous people.
Tyronne has previously held management roles in both the private and not for profit sector recently completing a period as General Manager of Regions for Jawun before being appointed as the CEO of the Kimberley Land Council in 2021.
Tyronne is keen to provide strategic leadership across wicked problems, brokering new opportunities and relationships that deliver impactful outcomes for the next generation of Indigenous people in the region and beyond.

Abstract
The Aboriginal Clean Energy Partnership is a new project development model in which Traditional Owner groups MG Corporation, Balanggarra Ventures and Kimberley Land Council are joining climate and nature investment and advisory firm Pollination as partners in developing a green hydrogen/green ammonia production and export hub in Western Australia’s East Kimberley.

For 25 years, Rob has been personally and professionally passionate about advocating for and delivering climate change abatement and clean energy policy, regulation, projects
investments, businesses and industries.
Rob is currently Managing Director at Pollination Group. Previously his professional career includes roles as Director Energy at Fortescue Metals Group responsible for the company’s energy and green hydrogen businesses; Chair of the Clean Energy Investor Group and Clean Energy Council; Senior Vice President Clean Power and Vice President Capital for SNCLavalin in Asia Pacific and for 18 years until July 2014 helped position Pacific Hydro as Australia's most successful and dynamic international clean energy utility.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and has completed an MBA and Master of Applied Finance at Melbourne and Macquarie Universities
