Abstract

Digital tools for children are being created by adults, often running the risk of being copy/pasted from an adult focused model to a child-focused one.

In this presentation titled 'Meeting children where they are: gaming for better mental health’ I will shed light on the topics below which lay the foundation for the design, improvement and commissioning of digital tools for children. I will also showcase a multi-award winning digital mental health exemplar, considerations made when creating it, key learning and it's success to date.

Biography

Manjul is the Founder of BfB Labs, a highly innovative mental health tech company offering unparalleled digital therapeutics to support children's mental health. Manjul holds an MA in Sustainable Design (UK) and was awarded the Prime Minister's Point of Light commendation.
